Want to analyze the pest infestation data from your MagicTrap 2 Water yourself and create your own reports? No problem! You can export the trap analyses (number of identified pests) as a CSV file at any time, which you can easily open in Excel.
You have 2 options:
// Option 1: Export data from a single trap: You’ll receive a CSV file containing data from one trap
- 1. Select the trap in the app
- 2. Click the three dots in the top right corner
- 3. Select “Export Data”
- 4. Specify the desired options and time period (see export settings)
- 5. Select “Export”
- 6. Choose a save location
// Option 2: Export data from multiple traps at once: You’ll receive a CSV file containing data from multiple traps

- 5. Select the traps whose observations you want to export together
- 6. Specify the desired options and time period (see export settings)
- 7. Select “Export”
- 8. Specify the save location

- Note: During export, images and a CSV file containing the corresponding analysis results are always compressed into a ZIP file
- Images with analyses: The images in which the AI has identified insects are exported
- Images without analysis: The images in which the AI did not identify any insects are exported
- High-resolution images: When enabled, images are exported in their original size. Depending on the number of images, the file size may be several GB
- Time Period: Specify the time period of interest, or export all data starting from Day 1 of use

The names of the identified insects are displayed in the CSV file as abbreviations of their scientific names.
