Due to its technical components, the MagicTrap camera module must be protected from permanent frost. Otherwise, the service life of the battery will be severely impaired.
The module must always be stored frost-free during the winter.
However, light frost over short periods, close to or slightly below zero, is not a problem - the MagicTrap can remain in the field.
If your trap is not sending any images, there are two simple steps you can take first:
1. Restart the trap (switch the trap off and on again using the yellow lever):
2. Reset the trap - if step 1 was not successful
Please note: The trap must be switched on, but the LEDs must no longer flash

To charge the module, it must be switched on. Use the original cable supplied to charge the module.
Once fully charged, the module will operate for several days, even in cloudy weather. So you can get through a whole season without any problems!
