To ensure that you continue to enjoy your MagicTrap for seasons to come, we recommend that you store your trap as follows:
- Dry and at room temperature
- Switched off with about 40 - 60 % battery (equivalent to two LED lights)
However, before you take the MagicTrap into use again in the future, you should fully charge it again - from then on it will be ready to support you in your observations.
Note: Thecamera module of the MagicTrap must be protected from permanent frost due to the technical components. Especially the lifetime of the battery will be strongly affected otherwise. Light frost over short periods, however, is no problem - the MagicTrap can remain in the field.
