To ensure you continue to enjoy your MagicTrap 2 Water for many seasons to come, we recommend storing your trap as follows:
- In a dry place at room temperature
- Turned off with approximately 40–60% battery remaining (equivalent to two LED lights)
However, before you start using the MagicTrap 2 Water again, you should fully charge it—once that’s done, it’ll be ready to help you with your observations.
Note: Due to its technical components, the MagicTrap 2 Water’s camera module must be protected from prolonged exposure to frost. Otherwise, the battery’s service life in particular will be severely compromised. Light frost over short periods, however, is not a problem—the MagicTrap 2 Water can remain in the field.
