In most cases, pending updates are downloaded and installed completely unnoticed in the background, provided there is sufficient reception. This is important to ensure that all functionalities are error-free and the device works as desired.
If this is not the case, you will be notified in the app that the trap needs to download a required update.
Our MagicTrap Update Manager makes it easy for you and shows you the corresponding status for your respective trap.
You can easily access the manager under "Profile" - "App settings" - "MagicTrap Update Manager".
This shows you which of your traps are currently in update mode and which have already been successfully updated.
If none of your devices are listed, all devices are up to date and no further action is required.
If updates are noted for your traps, please make sure that the reception is sufficient and that the trap is not switched off under any circumstances.
Important: If the trap is switched off, it will of course not be able to download updates and bring itself up to date. Therefore, always make sure that your trap is charged and in a place with good reception before setting it up in the field and before the start of a season so that it can download new updates if necessary.
