To ensure that you continue to enjoy your MagicTrap in the coming seasons, we recommend storing your trap as follows:
- Dry and at room temperature
- Switched off with approx. 40 - 60 % battery (equivalent to two LED lights)
Before you use the MagicTrap again in the future, you should fully charge it again - from then on it will be ready to support you in your observations.
Note: The MagicTrap camera module must be protected from permanent frost due to its technical components. Otherwise, the service life of the battery in particular will be severely impaired. However, light frost over short periods is not a problem - the MagicTrap can remain in the field.
