Export MagicTrap analyses

Do you want to analyse the pest infestation of your MagicTraps yourself and create your own evaluations? No problem! You can export the analyses of the traps (number of identified pests) as a CSV file at any time, which you can easily open in Excel.

 

You have 2 options:

 

// Option 1: Export data of a single trap: You will receive a CSV file with data from one trap

  1. Select the trap in the app
  2. Click on the three dots at the top right
  3. Select "Export data"
  4. Specify the desired options and time period (see export settings)
  5. Select "Export"
  6. Specify storage location

 

// Option 2: Export data from several traps at the same time: You will receive a CSV file with data from several traps

  1. Profile
  2. App settings
  3. Data and storage
  4. Export - traps
  5. Select the traps whose observations are to be exported together
  6. Specify desired options and time period (see export settings)
  7. Select "Export"
  8. Specify storage location

 

 

// Export settings

  • Note: When exporting, images and a CSV file with the corresponding analyses are always compressed in a ZIP file
  • Images with analyses: The images in which the AI has identified insects are exported
  • Images without analyses: The images in which the AI has not identified any insects are exported
  • Images in high resolution: If switched on, images are exported in their original size. The file size can be several GB depending on the number of images
  • Period: Determine the period of interest, or export all data from day 1 of use

 

// Designations

The names of the identified insects are shown in the CSV as abbreviations of the scientific names.

BOMUS - Bumblebee (species)

APISSP - bee (species)
